Down in New Orleans this weekend. Visited a site in Slidell, LA where BP has placed booms to prevent oil from reaching shore. The booms are similar in shape and size to a rope and buoy that separate the shallow and deep-end of a backyard pool. Our view is from top of a bridge maybe 50 feet high.

Side B of bridge: Not so much
