RoboTrippin' Video Premier

Recipe for a successful skateboard video premier:
\
288 Bouncy Balls
Live Stock.
Silver screen flanked by confetti cannons.
Fountain of Jameson Irish Whiskey.

Direct Live-Feed Pee Cam

Start the show.

Wish I had at least one good crowd photo but they all turned out just like my memory of the night...blurry. Great video, great turnout, great party.

I miss hanging with this kid. An example of someone who truly does not give a fuck.

PatChuck put together an edit from the trip and I lurked it off his Facebook page. Shit is sick!

New Muscle Car Series from Instrument Skateboards is in stock at Galaxie Skate Shop. Stop in and support your local skate shop and skateboard company. Fuck online, buy local.

Last 2 weeks...Part 2-Michigan

From Albuquerque I went to Michigan.
It was supposed to be just for a couple days, but then I realized how Michigan in the spring time is incomparable. Another iPhone dump of photos.
In the interest of full disclosure: not one of these photos is amazing, seriously.
Spring sky in Michigan.
Hometown bowl. Skated with Braydon Kavanagh,
who just turned 21.
Then I took Braydon to his first bar for his first drink and made
him place his first illegal bet on the Kentucky Derby.
Board eating spot.
Meat.
Slayed the fish.
Dumb ass mutt blew up the spot.
Couldn't pull well either.
I always see this guy in downtown GR
around Premier skate shop. Dressed so fast.
Some good shit up in the rafters of an attic.
Necessities of travel.
On a plane back home to Cincinnati.

Nice time in Michigan skating and visiting friends and family. Even managed to be a little productive and put an edit together from one of the days of skating with the Premier crew.

Last 2 weeks...Part 1-Albuquerque

So the last 2 weeks I have been off the grid. Not many updates, just traveling and skating. Sorry. Here's an iPhone photo dump from Albuquerque. Time in the ditch with a small crew of great friends was amazing!
Like Mecca is to practicing Muslims, Albuquerque should be to skateboarders. You need to visit once before you die.
Last 2 weeks routed kinda.
Mountains over New Mexico.
On approach to Albuquerque, NM.
P-2 Fire bomber. Aviation nerd is deep in me.
The owners of our fine Bed and Breakfast. Thanks Rob Ford!
There is a heaven and it is paved.
Pat-Chuck.
Towards the end of the ditch it narrows, life is tough.
Mile upon mile of mellow, perfect, gentle, inclined walls.

In reference to my above mecca comment;the best part about this place is you can wait until you're 55 to visit here, you will still be able to shred it, ollies aren't necessary.
I could see myself retiring in a little house that overlooks the ditches. Wake up, walk to the top, bomb a ditch, go to the bar. Retired life by Maxwell Harris White.

Thanks again to Rob Ford, Andrew Martin, and Patrick Schroeder for inviting me on this trip.

Premier A/V Club #1

Premier AV Club #1 on YouTube. The Vimeo embed link is acting weird.

Premier A/V Club #1

A few throwaway clips from this past week filming with the Premier group.

Few Days in Michigan

Ended up spending a few more days than planned in Michigan. Been skating with Braydon Kavanagh, Joe Lanenga, and some other West Michigan homies. Just a few blurry and poorly composed photos to go with the last few blurry and poorly composed days here in Michigan.
Visited some old spots.
Hans VanDoornik- Bump to Kickflip
Braydon Kavanagh-BS Ollie over post

B.K.-Ollie to Hill Bomb

Joe Lanenga's Golden Shoes

Lurked this edit off of Premier's site. If I'm not careful, this group is gonna make me a sneaker head.

Albuquerque Ditch

Flew out to Albuquerque to skate a ditch with friends. Adjectives that came to mind upon first glimpse of this structure; breath-taking, heavenly, perfection. To anyone that knows me, it is an extreme rarity to find me speechless. It happened here.
There is a heaven and it is paved.

Thanks to Rob Ford, PatChuck, and Andrew Martin.
